Never did I envision, during high school or my college years, that I would end up residing in Northern Utah. Coming from Northeast Pennsylvania, I lacked exposure to diverse mountain ranges or the exotic desert landscape. Instead, my upbringing involved hiking to local waterfalls and occasional overlooks, elements I now realize I had taken for granted. It was only later that I discovered my growing inclination towards photography, eventually leading me to acquire my first Sony camera.
In 2018, my wife and I visited Zion National Park, where we hiked Angels Landing for the first time. Atop of the summit, we sat together, endlessly watching the sun penetrate the deep orange canyon walls throughout the valley. It was something to behold. Both captivated by such a refreshing landscape, we knew that Utah, was the place, in due course, our new home.
Within my images, I strive to offer viewers a sense of calm through the portrayal of minimalistic compositions and the attention to often neglected smaller scenes. Moreover, I invite viewers to let their imagination roam freely.
